Emhyr

Emyr, Ymer Llydaw

Father of Howel of Brittany in the Welsh Dream of Rhonabwy.

Geoffrey claims, however, that Hoel’s father was Budicius.

Note
“Emhyr” seems to have been a generic name, signifying “emperor”, which the Welsh applied to several characters.
