    Cornish: Bosvenegh

    A civil parish and a major town in Cornwall, England, south-west of Bodmin Moor. In the 6th century, Saint Petroc founded a monastery in Bodmin, and gave the town its alternative name of Petrockstow. Bodmin is one of the oldest towns in Cornwall.

  2. Bodmin Moor
    Cornish: Goon Brenn; Fowey Moor

    A moorland in northeastern Cornwall and was formerly known as Fowey Moor after the River Fowey which rises within it.

    The lake Dozmary Pool are considered by some to be the body of water in which Bedivere threw Excalibur.

    There is a megalithic monument on the moor which is called King Arthur's Hall. It consists of 56 stones and measures ca 20 meters by 47 meters. It's tought to be a late Neolithic or early Bronze Age ceremonial site.
