1. Helias de Rognes
   Helyas li dux de Rognes, Herlais

   The duke of Rognes who joined Arthur’s battles against the Saxons at Clarence and Vambieres.

   His kingdom was later conquered by Galehaut.

   He is probably identical with Galain of Ronnes.

   
   

2. Helias of Toulouse
   Chimas, Dimas, Elias, Englias

   A sage and scribe who served Merlin and Arthur.
   
   He helped Galehaut interpret a disturbing dream, and he predicted the birth of Galahad. He died during the Grail Quest after reciting some of Merlin’s prophecies to Perceval.
