Maponus

The divine youth.

An early Celtic god, son of Matrona, he later became known as Arthur's warrior Mabon the son of Modron.

In northern Britain he was especially revered as a hunter, whilst in Arthur legend he was known as Mabon, Mabonagrain and Mabuz.
