Son of Bors, begotten after King Brandegorre of Estrangorre’s daughter seduced Bors with a magic ring. Alain arrived at Arthur’s court just before the Grail Quest and was knighted by his father. He joined the Round Table shortly.
During the Grail Quest, he traveled with Gawain and Hector, and he witnessed a marvelous vision at the Ancient Chapel. He was present at Corbenic when Galahad completed the quest.
He eventually became the Emperor of Constantinople.
