Nightbringer | The Arthurian Online Encyclopedia

A murderer who figures into Tristan’s ancestry. He was born the son of King Clodoveus. His sister was named Cressile or Trasfilas.

He slew Apollo, the first King of Lyoness (Lyonesse) (and Tristan’s great-great-great-grandfather), for which his father executed him.

Appearing in the Prose Tristan and La Tavola Ritonda, he is unnamed in the former.
