A Roman soldier who fought in the war against Arthur.
Mentioned in the Vulgate Merlin, he occurs in the same location as “Catellus Vulteius” in Wace’s version. A prince called Calidus de Romme is mentioned in the Vulgate and is most probably identical with the soldier.
