Djinni, Genie, Jinn, Jinni

A djinn is a supernatural creature in Islamic mythology. The word jinn means ‘hidden from sight’ in Persian.

Queen Guendolen is a half-Djinn and her castle was visited by Arthur in Sir Walter Scott’s The Bridal of Triermain.
