Dyfynarth

Dunarth, Dyvynarth

One of Arthur’s warriors who was the son of Gwrgwst Half Naked. Dyfynarth was called ‘King of the North’.

He was loyal to the warrior Gwythyr, and joined Gwythyr’s army when he opposed Gwynn son of Nudd. He was taken prisoner by Gwynn and was not released until Arthur intervened.
