Lady de Vawse

All can be found about this lady is that she held a tournament in the forest of Arroy, at which the prize was a rich circlet of gold worth a thousand besants; Sir Marhaus won the prize while adventuring with the damsel “Été”.

Lady de Vawse must have lived within two days’ ride of the South Marches.

It is tempting to postulate a scribe’s or printer’s error somewhere along the line and identify her with Lady de Vance.
