A knight from the Black Castle.
In the forest of Sapinoie (Sapine), Margondre encountered Lancelot and told him that Guinevere was an adultress. Lancelot took exception to his insult, defeated Margondre in combat, and made him go to Camelot to apologize to Guinevere for slandering her name.
Later, Margondre participated in the Grail Quest.
