A class of water-fairy of Breton origin.
It has been suggested that they gave rise to Morgan Le Fay, because they are sometimes simply referred to as Morgans. One in particular is of interest.
Called either Ahes or Dahut, this fairy was held responsible for the destruction of the legendary city of Ys.
