The evil, murderous lord of Raguidel Castle.
He kept Orvale de Guindoel in prison and he imprisoned the lady Angale, and developed a custom by which he raped maidens and condemned them as concubines. Marigart was slain, and his castle liberated, by Sir Hector (Ector de Maris).
