Penpingion

Penpingyon

A gatekeeper at King Arthur’s court who, according to Welsh legend,

travels on his head to save his feet.

He propelled himself by a series of forward rolls to save wear and tear on his feet.

He served the warrior Glewlwyd Strong Grip and was killed by the boar Twrch Trwyth during the epic hunt.
