‘Sandde Angel Face’
Sandav, Sanddef, Sandef
One of King Arthur’s warriors in Welsh legend.
One of the few survivors of the Battle of Camlann, his survival being attributed to his wondrous beauty, which meant that everyone mistook him for an angel and no one dared attack him.
He was called one of Arthur’s three Offensive Knights because of his appearance. He is also listed as one of the Twenty-Four Knights of King Arthur’s court.
