Memoire de Sanc, Mover of Blood
The scabbard which held Galahad’s Sword with the Strange Hangings.
It was made of wood from the Tree of Life in Eden, and looking at it reminded one of Abel’s murder under that tree. It had been fashioned by King Solomon of Israel, and was covered with the skin of a serpent.
Only the best knight in the world – Galahad – could draw the sword from the scabbard and escape injury.
