Glennie states that Abercorn, on the Firth of Forth, “where was anciently a famous monastery”, was the Abercurnig of Gildas. By Glennie’s map, Abercorn seems about five miles east of Linlithgow on the south bank of the Firth. It is a village in West Lothian, Scotland.
