Highworth

An area of Hayling Island, which is located in the English Channel.

V.P. Jones argues that it may mean “Garden of the Holy Grail.” There was a local tradition that a large treasure is buried west of St. Mary’s Church on the island. Jones asks if this might be the Grail.

Note
The word hayling comes from the Old Welsh heilyn, meaning cup-bearer.
