According to Hakluyt’s Travels (sixteenth century), this region of Scandinavia was said to have formed the eastern border of Arthur’s empire.
In Swedish this region is called Lappland, the Sami people calls it Sápmi. It is a large region which stretches over four countries: Sweden, Norway, Finland and Russia.
