Ty Gwydr

The term “Ty Gwydr” is Welsh, literally meaning “Glass House.”

The dwelling of Merlin was thought to be one and it was said to be on the Isle of Bardsey in Gwynedd.

Notes
Ty generally means a house, a dweilling-place, but in Welsh it occasionally is used to mean a church or place of worship, such as Ty Ddewi, St. David’s.
