      The hero of a German romance, Manuel und Amande, of which no complete copy survives.

      Manuel, who was of Greek origin, married Amande, daughter of the King of Spain, at Cardueil. Arthur was there at the time.

      A Grail King who was the son of Carcelois and the father of Lambor.

      First mentioned in the Vulgate Estoire del Saint Graal, he was a descendant of Bron and an ancestor of Pelles, Elaine, and Galahad.

      John of Glastonbury makes him an ancestor of Arthur through Igerne (Igraine).
