Kai

Cai, Cei

A variant of Cei.

Kai was later to resurface in the Arthurian cycle, his name only slightly altered, as the knight Sir Kay. This variant of the name is used when the knight of Arthur was said to have been encountered in a dream by Iddawc (Iddawg) and Rhonabwy, a tale related in the Mabinogion story of the Dream of Rhonabwy.
