A land ruled by King Amant, an enemy of Arthur. When Amant was slain by King Bors, Lambale fell to Gosengos, Amant’s son.

It was the home of Arthur’s knight Guivret de Lambale.

A “Count of Lambale” appears at the Sorelois tournament in Palamedes, but in the Prose Tristan, the count himself is named Lambale.
