Llanbadarn Fawr is a village near Aberystwyth in Ceredigion, Wales.
Here lies St. Padarn’s Church. It is one of the oldest churches in Wales. It was probably founded by Saint Padarn (Padarn Red Coat) in the sixth century, and served in the beginning as a monastic centre.
In the Life of Saint Padarn, Arthur is depicted as a tyrant.
According to a Welsh poem, the resting place of Arthur’s warrior Cynon is in Llanbadarn Fawr.
