Chanart

King Claudas made his nephew Chanart co-commander-in-chief (with Claudin the Younger) of his army for the war with Arthur over Elyzabel.

A good knight, Chanart succeeded in unhorsing Gawaine – though Gawaine later unhorsed him during the same battle.

After Claudas’ departure, Chanart helped welcome Arthur into Gannes.
