Lluch Lleawg

‘Lake’

One of Arthur’s warriors, described in the ninth-century Welsh poem The Spoils of Annwn.

He assisted Arthur in obtaining a magical cauldron from Annwn.

He may be related to Llenlleawg from Culhwch and Olwen who has a similar role in a comparable expedition. Either Lluch Lleawg or his comrade Lleminawg may be the origin of Lancelot, having descended from the Celtic God Lug.
