Lludd
According to Geoffrey of Monmouth, a king of Britain in the first century BC.
He was the eldest son of King Hely. His brothers were Cassibelaunus and Nennius. During his reign, Lud built cities and palaces all over Britain. One city, London, was named after him. Lud had two sons, Androgeus and Tenuantius, but when he died, they were too young to inherit the throne. Cassibelaunus succeeded him.
A mythical early British King, who is an Anglicised version of the Welsh Lludd, and thus also of the Irish Lugh. His mythical exploits are the same as those of Lludd in connection with the city of London.
