Maronel of Gaul

Marinox, Maronex, Maroniex, Maronixes, Maronniex, Maroveus, Moroneus

The King of Gaul some time before Arthur’s reign.

His daughter married Jonah (Jonaans), an ancestor of Lancelot, and since Maronel had no male heir, Jonah inherited the kingdom, thus establishing Lancelot’s roots in France, as the fifth of the kings who descended from Nascien d’Orberique.
