Ruler of the Forest of Shadows. Father of the knight Clamadoz of the Shadows and Cahot the Red. The two brothers were both killed by Perceval.
In Perlesvaus, the Red Knight encounters Percevale in the forest and challenges Percevale to combat. They fight, and despite the Red Knight’s renowned skill, he is defeated by Percevale.
