The unattractive ladylove of Girflet, lord of Becleus.

Girflet continually entered her in a sparrowhawk tournament, even though she was not beautiful, which was supposed to be a requisite for winning the sparrowhawk. Girflet’s own skill as a knight made him the victor. He was finally given his just deserts by Gawain’s son, Guinglain, who entered the tournament with Margerie, a truly attractive woman.
