Gaihom

Gahone, Gailhom, Gaion, Garam, Gohorre, Gohorru, Gorhan, Gorhom

The Vulgate says this is the capital of the kingdom of Gore.

In Phyllis Ann Karr’s first edition of Arthur’s Companions, she proposed identifying Gaihom with the city of Pembroke in present-day Wales, but this suggestion was based on the placement of Gore in Wales, which Chrétien’s Lancelot seems to preclude.

Sommer says Meleagaunce brought Guenevere here. He also mentions a place called Garam or Gorhan which might be identical with Gaihom.
