Tauroc

Tanros, Tauros

This stronghold of Arthur’s must have been handy to Taneborc Castle, at the entrance to Norgales (Northgalis). Morgan Le Fay had a castle in the woods around Tauroc. Glennie says:

Between Mold and Denbigh is Moel Arthur, an ancient British fort, defended by two ditches of great length.

Arthur stayed here for three days on his return from Taneborc.

Mold and Denbigh are in Denbigh County, North Wales. One can identify Moel Arthur with Tauroc.
