Dendevenel, Dundovenald

Dundonald is a small town located in South Ayrshire, Scotland, and it has historical and religious significance due to its connection with Saint Monenna.

Saint Monenna was an early Christian saint who lived in the fifth century. She was a missionary and an abbess, known for her dedication to spreading Christianity and establishing religious communities. According to tradition, she founded a church or monastery in Dundonald. The church became an important religious site, and her influence extended beyond the region.

It is said that the church was founded by Saint Monenna after Arthur’s victories over the Pagans.
