Lord of the Perilous Castle.
He served Lord Brian of the Gastine, but his sweetheart, Melie, was the niece of Bleheri, Brian’s enemy. Menelais sneaked away with his lover, but Brian tracked him down and killed him in his sleep.
Menelais’s last request to Melie was that she inter him in the Waste Chapel, which she did with the help of Arthur’s Sir Meriadeuc.
